Our German Shepard, Dylan, passed away at the age of
12 1/2 years old. We knew that we were going to get another male puppy to
replace him as soon as possible. My husband loved the German Shepard
breed, but I suggested that we get something smaller that our 8-year-old
daughter could enjoy and control. He researched all the breeds
extensively, buying some dog reference books and bringing home tons of
references from the library. He decided that the Standard Schnauzer would
be the perfect dog for us. I looked at the history and breed description
and agreed that the standard schnauzer would be perfect and as an added
bonus they don't shed. We checked many web sites for the Standard
Schnauzer breed and made a note of all the dog shows in the area to
attend. Luckily we saw Top Shelf Enterprises had a male puppy for sale to
a good show home. I called Tami the very next day. Happily I found out
that they were located only 40 miles from our home. We had shown our
German Shepard and did many performance activities with him, such as,
obedience and herding. We got hooked on showing and we were interested in
doing it again with our new puppy. We think that dog showing is a great
family hobby. I filled out the puppy application on-line and crossed our
fingers that we would be accepted as a good show home for Top Shelf’s Cabo
San Lucas, the black male show puppy available from Top Shelf
Enterprises. Tami called and told us that we had been accepted for our
new puppy. We were so excited; Gary and the girls could hardly wait till
Saturday to pick him up. When we got there we saw Cabo and Luna, we were
so thrilled. Gary loved Cabo's great stunning looks and winner
attitude, Luna was gorgeous and lovable and I wanted one just like her.
Lucas was adorable, I was amazed at how well he traveled home, no whining
or barking, he just looked and observed with his intelligent eyes. He
made himself right at home, curious about everything especially our two
cats. Everywhere we go we find out whom the schnauzer owners are because
they come up and rave about Lucas. Everyone wants to know where we got
such a great puppy. We proudly tell them about Top Shelf Enterprises and
all the great support we get from them with Lucas. The puppy packet was
wonderful, listing all the food, equipment and supplies, we needed to get
to properly take care of and groom our new standard schnauzer. I have
gone up to Top Shelf Enterprises several times to take grooming lessons
from Tami, and her daughter, Brigette. Tami and Steve Phillips have been
wonderful teaching us the ropes to develop a great show dog and a
wonderful family member. I feel very comfortable calling them regarding
any questions I have regarding our black male show puppy, Top Shelf’s Cabo
San Lucas. I know from past experiences how important it is to have a
supportive breeder to help with the success of your dog. We get that
support from Top shelf Enterprises. Sincerely, Carolyn, Gary, Brittany
and Julia Jensen, Ripon, California
