"We searched for months for a Standard Schnauzer breeder we felt we could trust.  When we came to Top Shelf's web page, we were very impressed by the lengthy questionnaire.  Knowing all potential owners would be scrutinized closely reassured us we were dealing with an ethical breeder.  Throughout the buying process Tami was very supportive.  This was our first Schnauzer and we had many questions as to health, behavior and grooming.  Tami answered all our questions in a very well prepared information pack she sent us by mail prior to getting Oscar.  It helped our transition and preparation for having a puppy in the house.  We traveled from San Diego to Sacramento to get our baby.  Oscar was great the whole way home, no accidents, even at only 9 weeks.  Now, he is almost 6 months and he is a "monster."  But we love our little monster.  Besides, if he weren’t a monster, he wouldn't be healthy.  Every day we are so pleased to have Oscar.  I am a private investigator and he rides with me all day, every day.  He is rewarded for good behavior by a trip to the dog park.  When Oscar gets older, we will definitely get a second Schnauzer from Tami and Top Shelf Enterprises!
