This page is a new addition to Top Shelf and it is sad for us to part with such good canine friends and parts of our family that we have held dear to us for years now, dogs that hand chose out of their litters, dogs that we have trained, many to top championships and top awards and others to many working titles and top ribbons and trophies for their intelligence, obedience, style, beauty and wonderful temperaments. But here at Top Shelf, we are not a large, nor a medium or even a small kennel, we are a home-based kennel. We are a kennel however that is as dedicated and as knowledgeable as the largest personally owned or commercially owned kennel out there about knowing what it takes to breed the best overall quality black standard schnauzers in the world, that is our goal and one we will be working towards for the rest of our days and to do this because we don't have the unlimited funds or huge kennel/run area that a large kennel would have to achieve this goal, we have to be very selective with our females that become our brood bitches as well as our stud dogs and and of course they are all our pets. So when our brood bitches have given all we feel they can give to us, or one of our pets needs to move on, you will see them on this page where we will be posting them for chance to have a new life, while they are still very much in their prime since this is a breed that can easily live to age 16 in good health. When you buy one of these dogs or bitches, they will be neutered or spayed, they will be up on all shots, they will come with a health record, you will receive their AKC registration papers so you can show them in obedience, agility or junior handling classes, or anything else you prefer, we will give you a New Owners Packet, and like our puppies, I am here for you for the life of your dog to help you in any way possible. My goal is to find a loving home for each dog. There may be a small fee/or not associated with each dog but that is nominal considering how much training, time and attention they have receive from us to make sure you are getting a totally proven pet with no problems- each is housebroken of course and travels wonderful too.
